You have a goal that is important to you. But despite it being important you’re procrastinating taking action on it.

But yet you still want the result.

Confusing, right?

When you really want the result, what often happens is you try ‘motivating yourself’ to get into action.

But often, this motivation doesn’t last long.

Yet it’s very normal when this happens, to be left wondering what’s wrong.

“Is it me?” you might wonder.

Actually, no.

People often think procrastinating means there is something ‘wrong’ with them.

They’ll think and say things like:

“I’m not motivated enough.” 

“I’m lazy.”

“I’m not committed enough, like I should be.”

But that’s not it.

Procrastination is actually a symptom of something else entirely.

And the reason you’re confused, and confronted by your inner struggle is that you’re focusing on the wrong thing.

What? Aren’t you supposed to focus on taking action? Motivating myself? Geeing myself up?

Actually, no.

Motivation and action are certainly an important part of the pathway to your goals.

But surprisingly, trying to motivate yourself into action is not the answer to procrastination.

But with the right understanding, you can go from putting off your dreams, to become a legendary action-taker. And turn those goals of yours into reality. And with faaaar less struggle. 

So today, because I care about you succeeding at your goals, I want to share with you what you really need to know.

To do this, what you need to know is the reason you have been procrastinating.  This will help you understand why you’ve been struggling to get moving. And you can stop beating yourself up and going around in circles.

I’ll also share what you need to do next to take your goal action to a whole new level.

Why you’ve been procrastinating…

People procrastinate because there is no structural tension in their goals. 

(Say, what?)

Structural tension is a critical, and unavoidable element to achieving  your goals.

When your goals have structural tension, motivation is natural. When they don’t, it’s virtually impossible to motivate yourself and make it through to the finish line.

Yep. You are not the problem.

The reason you’ve been putting things off is that you have not known that the key to taking action on your goals is this wonderful and insanely powerful energetic force you’ve probably never heard of.

What you now need to know is how to build goals that have structural tension.

How to build structural tension (so you can stop procrastinating + get on with achieving your goals)

  • Having a good strategy and plan
  • Taking action
